The experience
You arrive at an elegant Piedmontese kitchen in downtown Asti ready to spend an afternoon as a working chef, not watching one. A Pro Chef Ambassador walks you through the fundamentals of fresh pasta (how to work the dough, shape it, use the electric pasta machine) using techniques from the Italian tradition but explained for beginners. You work with selected raw materials from the region, your hands in the dough the whole time, in a relaxed and convivial setting with a small group.
The class builds toward a shared table. After you finish cooking, you sit down together to taste what you prepared: Russian salad, plin dumplings, fettuccine Alfredo, and gourmet hazelnut tiramisu, paired with local Piedmontese wine. The experience is designed around quality time and the memory you take away, not rushing through steps, but living, for a few hours, the rhythm of an Italian kitchen.
Bottled water and all meals are included. You choose at checkout whether to add wine tasting to your booking. The class runs three hours and welcomes children from age seven. A guide leads the session in English or Italian, and the space is wheelchair accessible.
