The experience
You'll spend three hours in a carefully selected local home learning to make a seasonal starter, fresh pasta dish and typical dessert: the foundation of everyday eating in Rimini. Your Cesarina is a passionate home cook who opens her kitchen to teach you how she actually cooks, not a restaurant technique or a performance. The address stays private until after you book, but public transport runs nearby so you can reach the home without a car.
The cooking happens first, hands-on from the start: you're not watching a demonstration or following a video. You work alongside your host, learning the proportions, the timing, the small adjustments that make the difference between a dish that tastes right and one that doesn't. The pleasure of it goes beyond the recipes themselves. You're welcomed into a home the way an Italian family would welcome a guest, and that matters as much as the food.
After you finish cooking, you sit down together to eat what you've made. Wine, beverages and coffee come with the meal, and the conversation is part of the experience. You leave with three recipes you can actually cook at home, and the memory of having learned them in the place where they belong.
