The experience
The tour starts with a van pickup in Positano and a scenic drive to Massalubrense, where you board the boat. The crossing to Capri takes you past the Blue Grotto, Green Grotto, Faraglioni rocks, Natural Arch, and White Grotto: your guide points out each one and shares details about the landscape and history. You get a map and information onboard so you know what you're looking at.
Once you reach Marina Piccola on Capri, you have four hours to explore on your own. Walk the streets of Capri and Anacapri, find a café, sit on a terrace, or visit the Blue Grotto if you want to pay the separate landing fee (15 euros). The boat waits for you at the marina. Swimming stops happen during the boat ride, so bring a swimsuit and plan to jump in the turquoise water.
The return journey circles the island again, giving you a second look at the rock formations and grottos from a different angle. Prosecco, snacks, a drink, and limoncello tasting come onboard. The boat has a cabin, sunbathing deck, toilet, shower, and fridge. Your skipper and guide stay with you the whole day, and lifejackets are provided. The van returns you to your Positano pickup point.
