The Experience
The tour starts in the Exhibition Space, where your guide walks you through over 500 years of Dublin whiskey history — the rise, the fall, and the current revival. You'll learn the story of the Teeling family and how they brought distilling back to the city after 125 years without a new distillery. Then you move onto the production floor itself, where you walk through each of the five steps of whiskey-making from grain to glass, seeing the equipment and process in real time rather than reading about it behind glass.
After the production floor comes the tasting. Teeling offers different options to match your experience level — whether you're trying whiskey for the first time or you already know what you're looking for. The whole experience runs 45 minutes to an hour. The distillery sits in the historic Liberties neighbourhood in Dublin city centre, and the building itself is wheelchair accessible throughout, with all areas and surfaces designed to accommodate visitors of different mobility levels.
If you want to eat, the distillery has a café and outdoor terrace on-site. There's also a gift shop if you want to take a bottle home. Public transport options are nearby, and the facilities are wheelchair accessible for visitors arriving by any method.
What’s included
- Fully guided tour through the exhibition space and production floor.
