A 3-day diving package in Tulamben, Bali for certified divers covers seven fun dives at multiple sites including two shipwrecks, coral formations and macro spots. Your instructor guides each dive, equipment and wetsuit are provided, and pickup from Amed or Tulamben surroundings is included. The dives must be completed within a week; if your last dive was more than a year ago, a refresher session is available for an additional fee.

The Experience

The package spreads seven dives across three days, so you're not rushing through the same site repeatedly. Each dive is led by an instructor who knows where the coral colours hold, where the macro life congregates, and what the two shipwrecks—the USAT Liberty and the Boga—actually reveal when you get down there. Tulamben's seabed carries both wrecks and living reef, so the variety stays high across the days. You'll see the Coral Garden, the Drop-off (a formation carved by lava), and several spots built around smaller creatures and details instead of the big landmarks.

Pickup and drop-off from Amed or Tulamben surroundings means you don't arrange transport yourself. The dive center provides mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy control jacket, regulator and other instruments; wetsuit and weight belt are included. The center has a restaurant and warung on-site if you want to eat between dives, though food and drink costs are separate. Facilities include WiFi, toilet, shower, locker and change room, so you can rinse off and rest between sessions without heading back to your hotel.

You need to be a certified diver with a dive in the past year to book this. If your last dive was longer ago than that, an instructor can run a refresher session for an additional fee before the package starts. The seven dives have to happen within a week, so you're choosing the pace—all three days back-to-back, or spread across the week if your schedule allows. Digital photos and videos of the dives are available to purchase; accommodation at the dive center (dormitory or bungalows) can be arranged separately.
