The experience

So you're standing on Tanjung Benoa beach in the southern part of Bali, and the instructor is asking which one you want to do first: parasailing, jet ski, banana boat, or donut boat. That's the whole thing right there. You don't have to pick a beach, don't have to negotiate with vendors, don't have to figure out how to get there from Ubud. The driver picks you up from your hotel, handles the route, and you show up ready to move. Safety briefing happens before anything starts, and then you're choosing your own order.

The parasailing round takes about six minutes in the air. You're towed behind a boat, harness locked in, and the view of the coastline opens up pretty fast. After that, most people do the jet ski next, fifteen minutes of your own throttle on the water with an instructor nearby, or the banana boat if you want the chaos of a group bouncing through the waves together. The donut boat is the same idea as the banana boat but shaped different, and it's another fifteen minutes. Between activities you've got access to shower facilities, changing rooms and lockers, so you're not sitting wet in your clothes waiting for the next thing.

The whole watersports experience at Tanjung Benoa is built around back-to-back activities with minimal downtime, which means you're done and heading back to your hotel by early afternoon. Insurance is included, all equipment is provided, and the instructors are there the whole time. You need to be at least twelve years old and have moderate fitness.
