The experience

The tour starts with a meet-and-greet at Udaipur railway station or airport, then moves into two full days of sightseeing in the city: City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Fatehsagar Lake, Moti Magri, Saheliyo ki Bari, the Vintage Car Museum, Shilpgram and Sajjangarh Fort. From there the car carries you south to Jodhpur, where a full day covers Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhavan Palace and the old city. The route then heads west into the desert toward Jaisalmer, where you have time for leisure and the option to book a camel ride and sunset dinner in the Thar Desert on your own.

Day seven takes you from Jaisalmer to Pushkar, a smaller town where the sightseeing day includes Raghunath Temples, the Mahaveer Swami Jinalay Digambar Jain Temple, Varaha Temple and Savitri Temple. The final stretch runs from Pushkar to Jaipur, where the last two days are spent visiting Amber Fort and Palace, the Gaitore Cenotaphs, Jal Mahal, City Palace and Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory and Hawa Mahal. The guide and driver handle the navigation and logistics across all four cities. You ride, rest and move through the itinerary without arranging transport between stops.
