The experience

Fort Frederick sits on Richmond Hill with views across St George's, the coastline and the Caribbean. The fort's history ties to the island's colonial past and its role defending the settlement below. From the elevated position, the landscape spreads out in all directions: the town, the surrounding hills, and the sea. This is the first stop, setting up the day's arc from history to nature.

Grand Etang Lake is the island's largest dormant volcanic crater, ringed by tropical rainforest. The tour includes a visit to the nature center and a short walk to one of the lookout spots overlooking the water. Mona Monkeys live in the reserve, and visitors sometimes get to see and interact with them. The lake itself sits deep in the forest, a different landscape entirely from the coastal views at Fort Frederick.

Annandale Waterfalls is the final stop: a natural waterfall flowing into a pool set inside a lush tropical garden. The water is clear enough for swimming, and many visitors take a dip to cool off after the morning's walking and driving. After the day ends, the driver drops you at your hotel in the south of the island or at the St George's Cruise Terminal if you're arriving or leaving by ship.
