The experience

You board a private speedboat at a time you choose and spend the morning or afternoon on the water with only your group and the captain. The route follows the northern coastline, stopping first at Navagio Beach: the famous shipwreck that appears on postcards across Greece. The captain ties up for 30 minutes while explaining the wreck's history, and you have time to photograph it from the water or swim nearby. From there the boat heads into the Blue Caves, where the captain navigates through the rock formations and you can swim inside one of them, the water so clear you see the bottom.

The next three stops are beaches and coves. Pelagaki is a hidden cove tucked into the cliffs where you can explore smaller caves on foot. Xygia Beach is known for its mineral-rich waters. The captain will tell you about their reputation. Filipoi Beach sits on the northwest side of the island with shallow, clear water full of fish, so bring the snorkel gear that's on board. The final 45 minutes happen in a private cove where you're likely to be alone.
