The experience
The boat departs with just your group aboard, which means no schedule dictated by other passengers and no crowded stops. Your skipper knows the island's hidden spots (caves, coves and rock formations) that larger tour boats cannot reach. You'll start at Navagio Beach, the shipwreck-backed cove that dominates postcards from Zakynthos, then move into the Blue Caves where sunlight bounces off the water in shades of blue that shift as you float through. The water is clear enough to see the bottom, and the skipper carries a swimming ladder so you can get in and out easily.
After the caves, you'll anchor at Xigia Beach, a natural sulfur spa where the water has healing properties and the atmosphere is quieter than the main tourist beaches. From there, the route opens up: you can snorkel in hidden coves, explore more sea caves, or simply float and rest. If you want the adrenaline, the skipper can take you to cliff-jumping spots where the water is deep and safe. A cool box with ice sits on board, and if you want lunch, the skipper will steer toward a seaside restaurant with views and drop you there, or you can eat on the boat. The whole outing runs four hours, which gives you a full morning or afternoon without eating the rest of your day.
Life jackets and safety equipment are provided, and the boat itself is six meters long with a canopy for shade. The skipper speaks English and has the local knowledge to read the water and keep you safe while you're in it. Fuel and all fees are included in the price.

Is this one for you?Four hours leaves room for a full day elsewhere on Zakynthos: a morning cruise with the afternoon free, or an afternoon departure that does not cut into other plans. The private boat means no fixed schedule beyond your return time, so you can linger at the caves or skip a stop if conditions or your mood shift.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What exactly is Navagio Beach and why is it so famous?
Navagio Beach, also called Shipwreck Beach, is a cove on Zakynthos's northwest coast framed by 200-meter cliffs and named for the wreck of a cargo ship that ran aground there in the 1980s. The wreck still sits on the sand, and the combination of the dramatic cliffs, the isolated location and the shipwreck itself make it one of the most photographed beaches in Greece, though it is reachable only by boat.
Can you swim and snorkel in the Blue Caves, or just look at them from the boat?
You can swim and snorkel in the Blue Caves. The skipper will anchor the boat inside or near the cave entrances, and you'll use the swimming ladder to get in and out of the water. The caves are sea caves carved into the rock, and the water inside reflects the sunlight in brilliant blues. The effect is strongest when the sun is high and the water is calm.
What is Xigia Beach and what makes it different from other beaches on the island?
Xigia Beach is a natural sulfur spa on the north coast of Zakynthos, where mineral-rich water rises from underground springs and mixes with the sea. The sulfur gives the water a distinctive smell and is believed to have healing and rejuvenating properties. It is quieter and less crowded than the main tourist beaches, and the skipper will anchor there so you can swim and float in the mineral water.
Is cliff jumping included, or is it optional?
Cliff jumping is optional. The skipper can take you to scenic spots where it is safe to jump if you want the thrill, but you do not have to participate. The choice is yours once you are on the water.
Can you bring your own food, or do you have to eat at the restaurant?
You are not required to eat at a restaurant. The boat carries a cool box with ice, so you can bring your own food and drinks and eat on board. The skipper can arrange a stop at a seaside restaurant if you prefer, but it is optional.
