The experience
The captain confirms your meeting point 48 hours before departure and selects the best route for the day (north or south around the island) based on weather and sea conditions. This means the exact stops shift, but the core experience stays the same: you'll anchor at three or four beaches, most of them reachable only by boat, and spend time in the water at each one. Kleftiko appears on the north route. The south route swaps it for Sarakiniko's white-sand coves. Poliegos, a small uninhabited island, anchors the itinerary on one direction. Sikia Cave takes its place on the other.
Snorkeling gear is ready on board, and you can also take out a paddleboard to explore the shallows around each stop. The crew serves wine, beer and soft drinks throughout the morning or sunset, depending on which departure you book, along with fresh appetizers, platters and seasonal fruit. An experienced captain and crew handle navigation and safety. The guide speaks English.
Five hours is long enough to feel unhurried at each beach without the day becoming a blur of stops. Public transport reaches the meeting point, and the cruise suits all fitness levels. You swim or snorkel as much or as little as you want, and the boat does the traveling between sites.
