The experience
The tour opens in Mykonos Town, where you wander the whitewashed streets around Manto Mavrogenous Square and the Old Port, then move through Little Venice: the waterfront district where colorful houses hang over the sea. The Church of Panagia Paraportiani, a five-chapel structure blended into one whitewashed landmark, sits nearby. From there the van carries you to the Mykonos Windmills, perched on a hill overlooking the Aegean, and then to Armenistis Lighthouse for sweeping views of the sea and neighboring islands.
The second half of the morning takes you to Ano Mera Village, where the pace slows. This is the island's quieter side: narrow Cycladic streets, the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, and the chance to step away from the busier town center. A knowledgeable local guide accompanies you throughout, and the air-conditioned van handles the distances between stops.
You'll walk for roughly two hours across the day, mostly at a slow pace, though the surfaces include some uneven ground and steps. The tour caps at 14 travelers, keeping the group small enough to move through the narrow streets without crowding. Two purchase options are available: the tour alone, or the tour bundled with hotel transfer.

Is this one for you?Choose the tour with transfer if your hotel is your starting point and you'd rather not arrange your own way to meet the group. Book the tour alone if you're staying centrally or prefer to make your own way to Mykonos Town. Either way, the four-hour span fits comfortably into a morning or early afternoon without consuming your whole day on the island.
