The Experience

I didn’t expect Grasse to smell so… old-fashioned sweet. Not like the perfume counters back home—more like walking through a garden after rain. Cannes was louder than I thought—cars edging down the Croisette, people posing by that red carpet even though there’s no festival this week. Sylvie pointed out where the movie stars stay (I tried to peek inside but just saw my own reflection).
