The Experience

Hotel pickup starts the morning, and you're at Hurghada port within minutes. The boat waits there, and once onboard you meet your diving guide—they brief you on the first site before you enter the water. Shallow reefs work for anyone new to diving; if you're experienced, the guide points you toward deeper sections and walls where the reef drops away. The sites are close enough that the boat ride between them is short, leaving most of the 6 hours in the water or resting on deck.

Lunch arrives onboard after the second dive, giving you time to decompress and talk with other divers on the boat. Scuba tanks, weights, a full set of diving equipment and all drinks during the day are included—you bring nothing but a swimsuit and your certification card. The guide stays with the group throughout, pointing out what's worth seeing and watching for safety. Afterward, the boat returns to Hurghada port and the driver takes you back to your hotel.
