2-Day PADI Advanced Open Water Diving in Sharm el Sheikh

You'll make four dives across two days, moving from deep water to navigation and drift techniques.

A 2-day PADI Advanced Open Water course in Sharm el Sheikh's Red Sea waters, where you complete deep, navigation and adventure dives under live guide instruction. The course runs over two full days with a reef check dive beforehand to refresh your skills. Private transport, all SCUBA equipment, bottled water and PADI e-learning materials are included. Minimum age is 14.

The experience

The course starts with a reef check dive to shake off any rust and confirm you're comfortable in the water before the real work begins. Day 1 covers the deep dive and navigation dive, two of the core Advanced certifications, and Day 2 moves into adventure dives like drift, peak performance buoyancy or wreck diving, depending on what you choose. A live guide leads all the water work in English, Italian, German, Arabic or one additional language, so instruction happens in the words you understand.

Private transportation picks you up and handles the logistics, so you show up ready to dive. The operator provides all SCUBA equipment, bottled water, coffee and tea, and government fees are covered. PADI e-learning lets you study the theory on your own time before you arrive, so the two days focus on the dives themselves and the skills that matter underwater.

The Red Sea around Sharm el Sheikh holds some of the world's most active reef systems, so the dives aren't just training. They're exploration in one of the places divers travel to see. The course wraps up after the remaining adventure dives on Day 2, leaving you with a new certification and the muscle memory to use it.

What's the difference between the deep dive and the navigation dive on Day 1?

The deep dive teaches you to manage the effects of depth and nitrogen narcosis, taking you down to around 40 meters in a controlled setting. The navigation dive trains you to use a compass and natural landmarks to find your way underwater and return to the starting point without surfacing.

Can I choose which adventure dives I do on Day 2?
