You're picked up from your Split or Trogir hotel and driven to Krka National Park with pre-arranged entry tickets. You spend 2.5 hours exploring the Skradinski Buk waterfall area on your own, then take a scenic boat cruise down the river canyon to Skradin, where you have another 2.5 hours to swim, relax, or eat. The whole day is five hours in the park, with transport and a guide handling the logistics so you don't have to.
You're standing in Split with a free afternoon and no car, and the waterfalls are an hour away. This tour solves that problem without the usual friction — someone picks you up from your hotel, the park tickets are already waiting, and you walk straight to the trails instead of queuing at the entrance gate. The coach leaves Split at either 8am or 10am, depending on which departure you choose; if you're coming from Trogir, only the 8:30am slot runs. You get an air-conditioned ride both ways and a guide who knows where to go and what to see.
The day splits into two halves. First, you have 2.5 hours at Skradinski Buk, the waterfall area where the Krka river drops in tiers and the water pools are clear enough to see the bottom. You're on your own here — the guide points you toward the best paths and then steps back so you can move at your own pace, which is the whole point. Some people hike every trail; others find a bench and sit. After that, the guide meets you at the boat pier and you take a one-way sightseeing cruise down the river canyon itself, which is the part people don't expect to love but do. The boat carries you past limestone cliffs and down to Skradin, a small town still inside the park, where you have another 2.5 hours to swim in the river, eat at a waterfront restaurant, or just watch the water.
If you want lunch beyond what Skradin offers, the tour operator can arrange a stop at a local family agrotourism place about 10 minutes away, where you can eat and taste wine — but you have to ask for it when you book. The park entrance fee is separate from the tour price and depends on the season: €16 for adults in spring and autumn, €30 in summer. Bring cash and comfortable walking shoes. The boat ride is included, the transport is included, the guide is included; what you pay separately is the park gate and whatever you eat.
