The Experience

The boat leaves Split and runs about an hour and 15 minutes southeast to Bisevo Island, where the Blue Cave opens up in the rock face. You enter by small boat into the chamber itself — the water glows electric blue from light filtering through an underwater opening. After the cave, the tour moves to a fisherman's village with beaches, then to Stiniva Cove on Vis Island's south side, a narrow inlet hemmed by cliffs that opens to the sea. Swimming and snorkelling happen at both stops.

Budikovac Island comes next, where you get snorkelling equipment and time in the Blue Lagoon. The gear is provided, so you just enter the water and look down. A 30-minute break on Carpe Diem Island follows — a known party spot with food and a beach. The final stop is Hvar town, one of the Adriatic's deepest harbours, where you have time for lunch and a walk through the old town before the boat heads back to Split.

The speedboat holds a small group and moves between islands quickly, which is what lets the itinerary fit six stops into a single day. An English-speaking guide travels with you. Bring a wind jacket if the weather turns cloudy or rough — the boat is fast and open to the air. Suspension seats with extra back and neck support are available if you request them when you book.
