The experience
You leave Trogir by speedboat and head first to Milna, a fishing village on Brač island where you stop for coffee on the waterfront promenade. The boat then crosses to Hvar, one of Dalmatia's most visited towns, and you have three hours of free time to move at your own pace. Most people climb up to the Spanish Fortress for views across the old town and the Pakleni Islands beyond, or walk the narrow streets past the Cathedral of St. Stephen, a historical monument with a quiet interior. You can eat lunch on the promenade, order a cocktail, or simply wander. The guide stays with the group but the time is yours to spend.
From Hvar, the boat takes you ten minutes out to the Pakleni Islands, a chain of uninhabited islands known for their botanical variety: lavender, rosemary, cactuses and wild flowers grow across them. You anchor at Palmižana bay, which has sandy beaches and water clear enough to see through. Snorkeling gear is provided, and you can swim, snorkel, or sit on the beach. A cocktail bar operates there if you want a drink. The boat waits while you're in the water, and the return to Trogir takes the afternoon.
This is a private tour, so the boat and guide are yours alone for the day. You choose between a standard boat or a larger one at checkout. The English-speaking guide handles the route and timing. You decide how much time to spend at each stop within the schedule. Nine hours is long enough to feel unhurried at Hvar but short enough that you're back before evening.

Is this one for you?Choose the private boat if you want the flexibility to spend your three hours in Hvar exactly as you wish (some travelers climb the fortress and cathedral, others prefer the promenade and a long lunch) without a group schedule pushing you along. The larger boat option seats more people if you're traveling with family or friends who want to split the cost.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
How much time do I actually get to spend in Hvar town?
Hvar gives you three hours of free time to explore on your own. Most visitors climb the Spanish Fortress for the view, walk through the old town and visit the Cathedral of St. Stephen, or sit on the promenade with a meal or drink.
What are the Pakleni Islands like for swimming?
The Pakleni Islands are uninhabited and known for their wild plants and sandy beaches. Palmižana bay, where the tour stops, has turquoise water clear enough for snorkeling, and a cocktail bar operates on the beach. The water is calm and suitable for swimming and snorkeling.
Is snorkeling gear included, or do I need to bring my own?
Snorkeling equipment is provided with the tour. You don't need to bring your own or pay extra for it.
What's the first stop at Milna like?
Milna is a small fishing village on Brač island where you stop for a coffee break on the waterfront promenade. It's a typical Dalmatian fishing village and also known as a sailing destination, so you'll see boats and a quiet, local atmosphere.
Can I see the Spanish Fortress and Cathedral of St. Stephen on this tour?
Both are in Hvar and accessible during your three hours of free time there. The Spanish Fortress sits on a hill above the town and offers views across Hvar and the Pakleni Islands. The Cathedral of St. Stephen is a historical monument in the old town with a peaceful interior.
What's included in the price, and what do I pay for separately?
The tour includes the private speedboat, guide, snorkeling gear, and all taxes and fees. Food and drinks, including lunch, are not included, though you can eat at restaurants or bars in Hvar or at the beach bar on the Pakleni Islands.
