The Experience

The speedboat leaves Trogir at 06:15 (or Split at 06:45) and heads east for 90 minutes to reach Biševo island and Blue Cave. The cave entrance fee varies by season — 18€ per person in spring and autumn, 24€ in summer — and you pay cash on the day. Then comes an hour of free swimming and snorkelling at Blue Lagoon on Budikovac island, where the water is shallow and clear.

The final stop is Hvar town, where you have free time to walk the waterfront, eat lunch at one of the local restaurants, or climb to the Spanish Fortress for views over the Pakleni Islands. The Cathedral of St. Stephen is also there if you want to step inside. The whole day runs 10 to 12 hours depending on conditions and how long you linger in Hvar.
