Step-by-step itinerary
Jungle adventure with zipline and hiking
- Slide through zipline lines
- Hike through rivers and pools
- Make rappel descents at waterfalls
- Cross suspension bridge
- Climb majestic tree for view
- Experience Tarzan Swing at 16 meters
The experience
You start by ziplining through the canopy, gliding above the rainforest floor until the landscape opens up below you. From there the day moves through a series of activities: hiking through rivers and pools, rappelling down to discover waterfalls, crossing a suspension bridge high in the trees, and climbing to a platform where you get an unobstructed view of the southern Caribbean. The Tarzan swing sits at 16 meters (52 feet). You step off the platform and swing out over the forest before the cable brings you back.
The platforms and bridges are built on top of existing trees without cutting or altering the forest. The cables are carbon fiber, chosen to avoid noise that would disturb the wildlife living in the jungle. What that means for you is that the whole experience stays quiet enough to actually hear the rainforest around you, rather than feeling like you're moving through an engineered structure. You're in full contact with the ecosystem without the intrusion of heavy architecture.
A live guide leads the group in English or Spanish and handles the technical setup at each station. Bring trekking boots or shoes that can handle water, a swimsuit, and a towel. You'll move through rivers and pools, so plan for wet clothes during the activity and dry ones for after. The operator provides all climbing and safety equipment, plus water and tropical fruits to refuel between activities.
