The experience
The climb starts with 92 hanging steps to the first platform at 45 meters, where you'll spend the night in a transparent bubble surrounded by the sounds of the tropical forest. From there, mesh ladders take you higher: the second platform sits at 55 meters and includes a pendulum swing. The third platform rises above 60 meters and opens onto views of the Caribbean Sea. You descend the next morning by rappelling more than 60 meters back to ground level, where breakfast is waiting.
The overnight stay is the core of this activity. You're sleeping where you climbed, not returning to a hotel. The guide manages the rope work and safety systems. You handle the physical climbing itself. All equipment is provided, and the experience runs about 15 hours from start to finish. An optional early wake-up gets you to the third platform for sunrise before the descent.
Is this one for you?The overnight climb demands a full day and night of your time and genuine physical effort on the ladders and rappel, so it suits travelers who want to commit to one immersive experience rather than fit multiple activities into a day. The guide handles all rope work and safety, so the effort is in the climbing itself, not in technical knowledge.
