The experience

You start with breakfast, then spend the day moving between wineries chosen to show the valley's range. One stop is a historic, renowned winery where extensive tastings introduce you to Chilean wines and the specifics of Maipo Valley production; another is a contemporary winery built with cutting-edge design and technology; the third is a small, family-run operation where wine has been made across generations using traditional methods. Each has its own character (old colonial estates, organic vineyards, modern buildings rising from vines), and your wine expert guide explains what makes each one singular.

Tastings happen at the foot of the vineyard, not in a classroom. You'll sample at least three different wines at the historic winery and taste again at the contemporary one. Lunch is a typical Maipo Valley meal served at a premium winery, often in its gardens if you visit the colonial estate house. If time remains, your guide will help you pick a fourth winery shop to explore based on what you've learned during the day.
