The experience
The tour departs from downtown Toronto hotels and selected meeting points in a comfortable air-conditioned Mercedes Sprinter minibus. Your guide shares real stories and insider tips about the region as you travel to Niagara, passing the Welland Canal. The shipping waterway that allows large vessels to bypass the Falls using a series of locks. The small-group format (typically 7 or fewer travelers, never more than 12) means no crowded buses and no long waits at attractions.
You'll stop at the Floral Clock, a 40-foot seasonal display where thousands of flowers and plants are arranged in designs that change throughout the year, and at the Niagara Whirlpool Lookout to see the dramatic Class 6 rapids and the natural whirlpool created by the river's sharp turn. At Maple Leaf Place, you'll taste three varieties of Canadian maple syrup and learn how it's produced. The boat cruise takes you into the Niagara Gorge where you feel the mist as you approach the Canadian Horseshoe Falls (a complimentary poncho is provided). Journey Behind the Falls then descends 125 feet through tunnels carved into the bedrock, placing you directly behind the curtain of water: 2,800 cubic meters crashes down just feet away from the observation portals, and you'll feel the vibrations through the rock.
You have approximately 3 to 4 hours at Niagara Falls to explore at your own pace. That time covers your selected attractions and leaves room for lunch, shopping on Clifton Hill, or simply watching the water. Your guide provides a clear meeting point and departure time before the return to Toronto. The tour operates in all weather. Dress appropriately for the season. Tours often sell out 3 to 5 days in advance, and exact pickup times and locations are confirmed after you book.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (3 to 12 years); Infant (under 3): free.
What's the difference between the three booking options?
The "Tour Including Boat Cruise" adds the Niagara City Cruise to the base tour. The "Boat + Journey Behind the Falls" option includes both the cruise and the Journey Behind the Falls tunnel experience. The "Tour Without the Attractions" option gives you the scenic drive, stops, and free time at the Falls, with the ability to add attractions on the day if you choose. Depending on which option you pick, you'll have different amounts of time for your selected experiences.
What happens to the boat cruise in winter?
The Niagara City Cruise operates seasonally from May through October, weather permitting. When the cruise is not running (approximately January through April), the tour includes a seasonal replacement attraction called Niagara Parks "Niagara Takes Flight" instead. Journey Behind the Falls operates year-round.
Is the Floral Clock included in every season?
The Floral Clock is a seasonal attraction and is not available during winter months. If you're traveling between November and March, the tour will include a different scenic stop along the Niagara Parkway instead.
How much free time do you have to explore the Falls on your own?
You have approximately 3 to 4 hours at Niagara Falls after your guided attractions are complete. That time is yours to spend however you like: exploring the waterfront, having lunch, visiting shops on Clifton Hill, taking photos, or simply watching the water.
What's included in the tour price?
Hotel pickup from downtown Toronto, the air-conditioned minibus, a local guide, scenic stops at the Floral Clock and Niagara Whirlpool Lookout, a Canadian maple syrup tasting at Maple Leaf Place, priority access to attractions (skip-the-line entry), and depending on your option, the boat cruise and/or Journey Behind the Falls.
