The experience
The stress of getting to Carnival (finding transport, navigating crowds, figuring out where to stand) disappears when a driver picks you up from your hotel between 8 and 9 pm. You ride to the Sambadrome, the purpose-built venue where the parade unfolds, and settle into a cabin with a view that puts you close enough to see the detail on the floats and the dancers' faces. The parades run through the night, eight hours of samba schools competing in sequence, each one a production of music, costume and choreography that fills the entire structure.
Inside the cabin, an open bar stocks draft beer, whiskey, vodka, soft drinks and water. A buffet offers hot and cold dishes, typical Brazilian fare, seafood and desserts: enough to graze through the night without leaving your seat. A beauty center and relax space with massage let you freshen up if the hours start to wear. A professional bilingual guide stays with you throughout, explaining what you're watching and keeping the experience safe and paced to the event itself.
You choose when to leave. After the fourth parade, around 3:30 am, a driver is ready to take anyone back to their hotel who has had enough. Those who stay through to the end (around 7 am when the last samba school finishes) get a final pickup and ride home. The guide remains with you either way, all the way to your door.

Is this one for you?Book the date that fits your Carnival schedule (each parade date is a separate option), and plan to stay as long as the energy lasts. The early 3:30 am pickup means you don't have to commit to the full eight hours if the night wears on, but the guide and driver stay with you either way, so the logistics of getting home safely are already arranged.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
How does the Sambadrome box seat differ from watching Carnival on the street?
The Sambadrome is a permanent structure built specifically for the parade, and your reserved box sits just meters from the catwalk where the samba schools perform. You have a fixed, unobstructed view throughout the night, access to food, drink and facilities inside the cabin, and professional security: none of which exist on the street, where crowds can be dense and unpredictable.
What happens if I want to leave before the parades end?
A pickup is arranged around 3:30 am after the fourth parade for anyone who is tired. If you stay through the entire event, the final pickup happens around 7 am when the last samba school finishes. Your guide and driver coordinate the timing with you.
Which Carnival dates can I book?
You can choose from five parade dates: February 5th or 6th, 2027; February 13th or 14th, 2026; February 13th, 2027; or the Champions Parade on February 21st, 2027. Each date is a separate booking option at checkout.
Is the guide fluent in English?
Yes. The guide is bilingual and speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese, so explanations and assistance are available in your language throughout the night.
What's included in the buffet and open bar?
The buffet offers hot and cold dishes, typical Brazilian cuisine, seafood and desserts. The open bar includes draft beer, whiskey, vodka, soft drinks and water. Both are available throughout your time in the cabin.
