The Experience

The day starts at Iguazu Falls, where 275 waterfalls pour into the Iguaçu River a few kilometers from the confluence with the Paraná. The Garganta do Diabo — Devil's Throat — drops 90 meters and generates a mist visible from miles away. You walk the viewpoints and take in the volume and force of the water before heading to the theme park complex.

The Dreamland Wax Museum holds over 90 life-size figures produced in London, ranging from Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson to Albert Einstein and Pope John Paul II. The Ice Bar keeps the temperature below freezing and stocks craft drinks with and without alcohol, designed as a quick photo stop for the whole family. World Wonders Space displays miniature replicas of major monuments — the Statue of Liberty, Taj Mahal, Christ Redeemer, Eiffel Tower, Giza Sphinx, Terracotta Army and others — all in one indoor space. The Dinosaur Park sends you outdoors to walk past 20 animatronic dinosaurs with movement and sound, including a T-Rex about 12 meters high.

A guide in your chosen language handles the route and timing. Hotel pickup is included from downtown Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazu; if you're crossing from Puerto Iguazu to Brazil, you'll pay an eco-tourism tax at the border. The national park entrance fee is not included and can be purchased at the visitor center or online. Bring a valid passport, confirm your hotel address and pickup time before booking, and wear light clothing and comfortable shoes.
