The experience

The day starts with a drive from Belize City to the activity area, where your guide walks you through the forest to the Caves Branch River. After a safety briefing and equipment check, you spend roughly 90 minutes floating through the cave system on an inner tube, looking up at the limestone formations overhead as you move through the underground passages. The guide leads the way and points out the cave features as you go.

Once you finish tubing, you meet the zipline team for harness fitting and instructions on the forest-canopy course. You then spend about an hour moving between platforms high above the ground, seeing the canopy from above. Trained guides handle the safety setup at each station, so you focus on the movement and the views. Groups stay under 25 people, which keeps the experience manageable at both the cave and the zipline.

Pickup and drop-off from your Belize City hotel or cruise ship are included, along with the guide service and national park fees. Cruise ship passengers need to provide their ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time at booking so the timing works with your departure. A minimum of 2 people per booking is required. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the forest approach and the cave tubing.
