The longest single run stretches 2,300 feet through the canopy.

Zipline through the Belize rainforest canopy on 14 platforms and 9 runs, the longest zipline course in the country, with a professional guide and all equipment provided. The full course spans over a mile and takes about 90 minutes to complete. Children from age 4 can participate (those under 80 lbs can ride tandem with a guide), and the guide speaks English or Spanish.

The Experience

Nine runs across 14 platforms take you over a mile through the rainforest canopy. The longest single stretch covers 2,300 feet—that is the speed and distance you feel when you step off the platform. A professional guide leads the group through the course, managing the rigging and pacing so you move from one platform to the next without waiting around. The whole thing takes about 90 minutes from start to finish.

You need a minimum weight of 80 pounds to zip on your own; younger children can ride tandem with the guide. A maximum waist size of 42 inches applies to the harness fit. All necessary equipment—harness, helmet, gloves—comes with the activity, and the guide handles the technical setup at each platform so you focus on the ride itself. The guide speaks English or Spanish.

The course operates in the Belize rainforest and uses triple safety systems on the line. Note that the national park entrance fee is payable separately in cash on the day, and the activity is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with poor cardiovascular health. Hotel pickup is not included, so you'll need to arrange your own transport to the site.

Is this one for you?You operate the zipline yourself across each platform, so this suits anyone who wants to be active rather than watch from below. The guide handles the technical rigging and pacing, which works well for groups mixing experience levels—first-timers and repeat zippers move through together without anyone holding back the group.
