Step-by-step itinerary
Wine tour with lunch and olive oil tasting
- Pickup from Mendoza
- Visit vineyard and wine tasting
- Gourmet lunch with premium wines
- Olive oil production tour and tasting
- Drop off back in Mendoza
The experience
The day starts with pickup and a drive into Maipú, Mendoza's main wine region. You visit a winery to learn how the wines are made, tour the production facilities, and taste what they've crafted. The operator books from a roster of established wineries: Vistandes is a regular stop, though availability can shift the lineup to another producer with the same setup. This is not a group experience. The tour runs private for your party only, which means the guide paces the stops to what interests you and the vehicle waits when you want to linger.
Lunch happens at a winery restaurant, either Cina Cina or Manuel Villafañe, where each wine is chosen to match the courses. You pick the menu depth at checkout: a 3-course or 5-course option, both paired. After lunch, the route moves to an olive oil factory (Pasrai or Laur), where a tour walks you through how they press and blend their oils, and you taste the finished products. The whole day runs 4 to 5 hours from pickup to drop-off back in Mendoza.
The vehicle is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible. Infants can travel in a pram, stroller or specialized seat. The operator has run this route for over a decade, so logistics (timing, restaurant coordination, winery slots) are handled. You show up and move through the day.

Is this one for you?Book the 5-course menu if you want the full progression of wines and dishes. The 3-course option works if you prefer a shorter meal and more time at the olive oil factory or wineries. Private touring means the guide adjusts the pace to your interests, which suits anyone who wants to ask questions or spend extra time at a particular stop without holding up a group schedule.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
What's the difference between the 3-course and 5-course lunch menus?
Both pair wines to each course. The 3-course menu is a shorter progression. The 5-course menu extends the meal with additional dishes and pairings, giving more time at the restaurant and a deeper tasting experience.
Will I visit the same wineries every time, or do they change?
Wineries are subject to availability and may be substituted with others of similar characteristics. Vistandes is a regular stop, but if it's unavailable (particularly on Sundays when tastings aren't offered there) the guide books an equivalent winery instead.
Is this tour just for wine, or do I get to learn about olive oil too?
The tour includes both. After the winery lunch, you visit an olive oil factory where you learn their artisanal production methods and taste their oils, so you experience two Argentine food traditions in one day.
What does the private tour mean for pricing?
The tour requires a minimum of two passengers. More passengers in your group lower the per-person price, but the entire experience stays private to your party: no strangers join the vehicle or the tastings.
Do I need to arrange my own way to the winery, or is transport included?
Pickup is included. The driver collects you and handles all transport between Mendoza, the wineries, the olive oil factory, and your hotel or meeting point for drop-off.
