The experience
The day starts when your private driver arrives at your hotel. El Enemigo Winery is the first stop, where you'll taste three wines from the Los 3 Enemies line or choose from Chardonnay, Malbec, or Cabernet Franc. Alejandro Vigil's project fuses art, history and winemaking craft: the tasting walks you through how those elements shape what's in the glass. The winery itself is the setting. You're not visiting Catena Zapata, though you'll drink its wines later.
From there the driver takes you to Angelica Cocina Maestra for lunch. The menu builds around local ingredients and fine dining technique, each course arriving with a carefully chosen wine: Chardonnay, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Merlot from the Zapata winery. The pairing is the point: the kitchen and the cellar work together. Lunch is complete. You're not assembling a meal from options.
Your driver returns you to your hotel when the meal ends. The whole experience runs five to six hours from pickup to drop-off, with the winery tasting and the paired lunch as the two anchors of the day.
