The experience
Your private driver meets you at the airport and takes you straight to the Iguazu Grand Resort Spa & Casino. After checking in, you head to the Brazilian side of the park the same afternoon: a guide walks you through the border crossing, then you board the panoramic buses and step off to follow the paths at your own pace. The Brazilian park gives you the wide-angle view of the falls without the water spray.
Day two is the full Argentine experience. You start at Devil's Throat, walking the 1,200-meter catwalk out over the islands to the biggest drop in the system. Then comes the Great Adventure: a two-part excursion that puts you in a semi-rigid zodiac boat racing toward the foot of San Martin, Bosetti and Three Musketeers falls, then down through the river rapids to Puerto Macuco, 3 kilometers downstream. After the boat ride, a truck carries you 8 kilometers through the jungle on the Yacaratiá trail, where your guide points out the flora and fauna. Back on foot, you walk the Upper Circuit for the overhead view and the Lower Circuit (1,600 meters of catwalks) for the close perspective from below and around the falls.
On day three, your driver picks you up at the hotel and takes you to the airport for your departure. The whole trip runs on your schedule: your own guide, your own vehicle, no group waits or set meeting times.

Is this one for you?The boat ride through the rapids and the full-day walking circuits on day two demand moderate fitness and comfort with water. If you prefer to stay dry and move at a slower pace, the Brazilian side alone or a guided walk without the zodiac adventure would suit you better. The private format means you set the rhythm within each day, so you can rest at the hotel between activities or linger at any viewpoint without a group schedule pushing you forward.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
What's the difference between the Argentine and Brazilian sides of Iguazu Falls?
The Argentine side puts you close to the water and the individual falls. You walk catwalks that jut out over the islands and ride boats to the foot of the cascades. The Brazilian side sits across the river and shows you the whole system at once, a panoramic view that lets you see how the falls fit together without getting soaked.
Do I need to bring a passport to cross into Brazil?
Yes, a valid passport is required for the border crossing on day one. Your guide accompanies you through the process, but you'll need the document with you.
What's the Great Adventure boat ride like?
The Great Adventure combines two experiences: a zodiac boat that takes you to the base of several major falls and through the rapids downstream to Puerto Macuco, followed by a truck ride through the jungle on the Yacaratiá trail where your guide explains the local wildlife and plants.
How much walking is involved each day?
Day one is moderate. You walk the Brazilian park paths at your own pace. Day two is the most active: the Devil's Throat catwalk is about 1,200 meters, the Upper Circuit is 800 meters, and the Lower Circuit is 1,600 meters, all on detached boardwalks. Day three is just the transfer to the airport.
Is breakfast included at the hotel?
Yes, breakfast is included both nights at the Iguazu Grand Resort Spa & Casino. The resort is a 5-star property, and your room is a standard room according to availability.
