The experience

The tour starts at Long Bay, where the sand is fine and the water stays shallow and calm. From there you move to Devil's Bridge, a natural arch formed over centuries as Atlantic breakers eroded the soft limestone underneath the harder cap. The result is a stone bridge with geysers and blowholes where the waves still crash through. You'll have time to photograph it and walk around the formations before heading inland through the villages toward the southeast coast.

Pigeon Point Beach comes next, about five minutes from English Harbour, and it's a local favorite for snorkeling as well as swimming. The tour then moves to Valley Church Beach, where lunch happens: you eat local cuisine on the sand with the water in front of you. The whole day runs four and a half hours from pickup to drop-off, which leaves the rest of your afternoon free if you want to explore elsewhere on the island or return to your hotel.
