The tour starts with a drive from Berat to the village of Tomorr, about 1.5 hours into the national park. From there, the hike begins: you climb toward either the castle of Tomorri or the mountain's highest peak, depending on which option you choose at booking. The route takes 1.5–2 hours depending on your pace and fitness level. A local guide walks with you the whole way, sharing stories and cultural details about the area that a solo hike would miss.

The hike passes through Qafa e Skures, a ridge where the mountain opens up in front of you and the view spreads across the park and village below. This is where you stop to rest and recover. Lunch can happen here or at the castle ruins, about 80 meters higher. You decide based on how you're feeling and how much time you want to spend at the top. The descent takes a different route down, so you see another side of the park on the way back to the village.
