The experience

The tour starts from pickup at your location, then the guide and driver take you on routes you've chosen beforehand. Because these are custom tours, there's no fixed itinerary. You decide what you want to see and do, and the operator builds the day around it. The jeep stays off the main roads as much as possible, which is what makes the backroad scenery work: you're not following the standard tourist loop.

The tour includes the guide, the driver, all jeep expenses, soft drinks and lunch. Entrance fees to any sites you choose are covered. You can book a half day, a full day or multiple days in a row. Groups taking more than one day get a discount. The guide speaks English or Vietnamese, so communication about where to go and what you're seeing is straightforward.

A moderate level of physical fitness helps, since you'll be getting in and out of the jeep at different stops. Infants can ride in a pram or stroller, and small children can sit on an adult's lap. Service animals are welcome.
