The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel in central Duong Dong or John's Tours office between 8:15 and 8:30, then heads to the harbor to board the boat. You'll visit three islands in the An Thoi Archipelago: first Xuong Island (also called Gam Ghi Island) for snorkeling at the coral reef, then May Rut Trong Island with its white sand lagoon where you can swim, use the beach bar, or try water sports. Lunch comes on board the boat.

The boat then takes you to Thom Island, where you enter Aquatopia water park with more than 20 rides and attractions. After time there, you board the cable car for the return journey, roughly 25 minutes, with panoramic views of the islands and the sunset. The cable car ticket and water park entrance are both included. You're back at your hotel by 5:30 p.m.

The guide speaks English throughout, and the tour provides life jackets, snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel and fins), one bottle of water, and lunch. Specialized infant seats are available on request. The full day runs about eight hours from pickup to return.
