The experience
You start with check-in and gear-up at the base, then ride a shuttle up the mountain before hiking a scenic 10-minute trail through Skull Canyon to reach the top of the course. The hike follows rocky terrain and climbs uphill for roughly a mile, so you'll want to be comfortable walking on uneven ground. Once you reach the platform, the guides walk you through ground school: the safety training that teaches you how to grip, brake and move through each station. Everyone must pass ground school before continuing.
The six ziplines themselves carry you across rugged terrain at heights over 80 feet, with the cable stretching more than 2,800 feet in total. You'll glide from platform to platform, building confidence as you go and taking in canyon views between runs. The guides stay with you throughout, coaching technique and managing safety at each stop. Whether you're zipping for the first time or you've done it before, the course is designed to keep you engaged without overwhelming you.
Closed-toe shoes are required: no Crocs, Chacos, flip-flops or sandals. You'll need to weigh between 60 and 250 pounds to fit properly in the harness and helmet, and you must be able to grip handholds above your head and hike uphill on rocky trails. Wear comfortable clothes suited to the weather. All participants complete a waiver before starting. Parents or guardians sign for anyone under 18. Children under 12 need a supervising companion at least 14 years old.

First-timers get the same coaching as experienced zipliners, so confidence matters more than prior experience.
