A 3-hour sunset snorkeling activity in Waikiki where you swim with Hawaiian sea turtles at Turtle Canyon, then cruise back past Diamond Head with wine and a handcrafted charcuterie board. The boat departs at 4pm with free pickup from Waikiki hotels starting 30 minutes before. You'll have time in the water with tropical fish and sea turtles, plus access to paddle boarding, kayaking and other water activities at no extra cost.

The experience

Three hours gives you real time in the water instead of a rushed stop. You start with snorkeling at Turtle Canyon, where the reef sits close enough to shore that beginners and experienced snorkelers both find their depth. The crew provides all equipment (mask, fins, snorkel and life jacket), and the water stays warm enough that you won't need a wetsuit. If you want a break from snorkeling, the boat carries paddle boards, kayaks and sea chairs, so you can float and watch instead.

The sunset cruise back to Waikiki is the second half of the day. You'll be on the water as the light shifts from gold to pink to orange, with views of Diamond Head and the Waikiki shoreline from a vantage point you can't get from the beach. A premium charcuterie board (cheese, meats and sweets) comes out with unlimited wine (non-alcoholic options for travelers under 21), and hot and cold water throughout. The crew speaks English, Korean and Japanese.

Pickup runs from 3:30pm onward from Waikiki hotels, and drop-off happens after the boat returns. Children from age 3 are welcome, though infants sit on an adult's lap. The activity isn't recommended for people with poor cardiovascular health, but it suits all other fitness levels.
