Beginner scuba diving in West Palm Beach for first-time divers with no experience required. An instructor leads you through a safety briefing and equipment check, then guides you underwater to explore artificial reefs and fish. The whole experience runs about 1.5 hours. Video of your dive is included and sent to your phone immediately after. Children from age 10 are welcome. You can book with or without a wetsuit rental.

The experience

The dive starts on shore with a safety and equipment briefing led by an experienced instructor who walks you through the gear and makes sure you're comfortable before entering the water. Once you're ready, the instructor stays with you the entire time, providing guidance and helping you adjust to breathing underwater. You'll explore artificial reefs teeming with fish in a relaxed, supportive setting designed specifically for people trying scuba for the first time.

All diving gear is included in your booking: tank, wetsuit (unless you're diving during cold water season and choose the option without one), mask, fins and everything else you need. The timing can shift by up to an hour depending on tide conditions and operational circumstances, so the operator will confirm your start time closer to the date. Public transportation options are available near the dive site, and the facilities are wheelchair accessible.

After you surface, the instructor gives you the video footage shot during your dive, sent straight to your phone so you can share it with family and friends right away. The whole outing (briefing, dive, and debrief) takes approximately 1.5 hours from start to finish.
