Six and a half hours on an electric-assist bike means you cover ground without the effort of a standard ride. The bike does the work on climbs, so the focus stays on the landscape: sun-draped vineyards, oak-studded rolling hills, and the San Rafael Mountains framing the route. You'll pass through Los Olivos, the quaint village at the heart of the wine country, and ride out Figueroa Mountain road toward the San Rafael ranch land that borders Neverland.

Two tastings anchor the day. At the olive oil stop, you taste local oils and locally infused balsamic vinaigrettes paired with ciabatta bread. Beckmen Vineyards, located in the Los Olivos AVA, focuses on Rhone varietals. You'll select wines to taste from their lineup. The guide leads the group through both stops, and the pace is built around the riding, not a rushed itinerary.
