The day starts with pickup from your Las Vegas hotel and a transfer to the canyon entrance in the Summerlin area. Once there, the operator fits you with a helmet and walks you through the e-bike controls, safety rules and the full route before you ride. You get bottled water and a snack to carry along. The e-bikes do the work on the climbs. You pedal, and the electric motor handles the effort as you glide up to 4,800 feet along the one-way scenic loop through Red Rock Canyon National Park.

Riding self-guided means you set the rhythm: stop as long as you want at the sandstone formations, take photos of the geology, rest at overlooks. There's no group pace to keep up with and no guide narration to follow.
