The experience

You start at the base of the Bradshaw Mountains just north of Phoenix. The first hour covers check-in and training: the guide walks you through the UTV's controls and what to expect on the trails ahead. Then you spend up to two hours riding through some of the best terrain Arizona has to offer: giant Saguaro cacti scattered across open desert, deep canyons carved by flash flooding, and a crossing of the Agua Fria River itself. The landscape shifts as you move through it, and the guide points out the animals that live here: coyotes, bobcats, deer, rabbits, quail, and if you're unlucky enough to spot one, rattlesnakes.

The UTV holds up to four people, and you book per vehicle rather than per seat. If your group is larger, you'll need to make separate bookings.
