The Ride & Shoot Combo is a 3-hour activity in Arizona's Sonoran Desert where you operate a multi-seat UTV on backcountry trails, then move to a private shooting range to fire a Glock 9mm and AR-15 under an NRA-certified instructor. Up to 4 people ride per vehicle; safety gear, water and firearms instruction are included. Bookings are per vehicle, and you must be 18+ with a valid ID.

The Experience

You arrive for up to an hour of check-in and safety briefing, then split your remaining time between riding and shooting. The UTV takes you out into the Sonoran Desert on established trails—you're at the controls the whole way, not watching from a passenger seat. The terrain is what makes this work: real desert riding, not a loop around a parking lot. After the ride, you move to the private range where an NRA-certified instructor walks you through the Glock 17 and AR-15, handling the setup and safety protocols so you can focus on the mechanics of each weapon.

The combo format means you're not choosing between two separate activities; you're doing both in a single morning, which is why early booking matters—the operator notes that cooler temperatures and smaller group sizes happen earlier in the day. Max 4 people per vehicle, and you book per vehicle, so if your group is larger you'll need to create separate bookings. Helmets, goggles, face masks, ear plugs and eye protection are provided. Glock 9mm and AR-15 are included; other firearms are available for an upgrade fee if you want to try something different.

Wear closed-toe shoes and avoid skirts or dresses—the UTV riding and range work both demand practical clothing. A signed waiver is required before you start. All minors must have a parent present, and everyone must speak and understand English for the instructor's safety briefing to work.
