The experience
The paintball gun is light and easy to handle, fed by compressed air or CO2 to fire each round. You'll load paintballs into the hopper at the top of the gun, then step up to shoot at targets the instructor has set up for you. The splatter when a paintball hits is the whole point. It's immediate feedback and a small rush. An instructor stays close by to answer questions and help you adjust your grip or aim if you need it.
Thirty minutes is enough time to burn through your 100 paintballs and get the feel of the gun without fatigue setting in. If you want to keep shooting after that, you can buy more paintballs at the range. The range sits close to Coyote Dry Lake, and because it's target-only, not a competitive arena, there's no pressure to hit anything or compete with anyone else. Kids and adults alike find it straightforward and fun.
