The Experience
The boat leaves from Oahu with a captain and first mate who know the waters and adjust the strategy based on what's happening. If the pelagic bite is strong, you'll troll with artificial lures, live bait or dead bait in the deep. If the fish aren't cooperating, the crew pivots to nearshore reef fishing instead of wasting hours on a dead bite. That flexibility is what separates a day of casting from a day of actually landing something.
Everything you need to fish is on board—rods, reels, tackle and all the rigging. An ice-filled cooler and refrigerator keep your catch fresh and your drinks cold. The yacht itself is built for comfort: air conditioning, a lounge with a large couch, a dining area, kitchen, onboard restroom and an entertainment area with TV and Wi-Fi. The crew cleans and fillets your catch and packages it in ziplock bags so you can take it home. You bring snacks, refreshments and comfortable clothing; motion sickness medication is a good idea if you're prone to it.
