The experience

I didn’t expect to feel like a little kid again just driving through Brooklyn, but that’s what happened on this Dyker Heights Christmas lights tour. We started out near Rockefeller Center. The crowds were thick and someone was playing “Jingle Bell Rock” from a tiny speaker. Kids ran past us with mittens trailing behind them and I swear every house tried to outdo its neighbor with more lights or bigger toy soldiers.
