You're gliding through mangrove tunnels on a paddleboard or kayak—whichever you choose—and the only sound is the occasional splash of a heron lifting off or a manatee surfacing nearby. This is the Biscayne Bay paddleboarding and kayaking experience, and it starts the moment you push off from Venetian Marina. The mangrove passages are narrow enough that you can reach out and touch the roots as you pass, and the guides know exactly where to look for dolphins, rays, and the raccoons that live on Raccoon Island, your first stop. If paddling isn't your thing, you can stay on the boat the whole time—nobody's keeping score.

After you've explored Raccoon Island and had time to rest on the sand, the boat takes over. You cruise through Biscayne Bay past Bird Island, a protected sanctuary packed with pelicans, egrets, and cormorants, then past Indian Creek Island—the ultra-exclusive enclave locals call the Billionaire's Bunker because of who lives there. Tom Brady, Ivanka Trump, Jeff Bezos, David Guetta, Julio Iglesias—their estates line the water, and your guide points out the details while dolphins and rays move through the bay like they own the place.
