You ride a helicopter over the Las Vegas Strip at night, seeing the Bellagio Fountains, Sphere, Stratosphere, and major casinos from the air. The flight lasts 10 to 12 minutes including boarding. All fees and taxes are included. You'll need an original photo ID and can choose from multiple departure times to fit your evening.
The rotor spins up, and you're lifting off the tarmac into the dark Nevada sky. Within seconds, the Las Vegas Strip spreads below like a circuit board of light — the Bellagio's fountains catching the glow, the Sphere's LED surface pulsing, the Stratosphere needle rising 1,149 feet above everything else. This is a 10-minute helicopter flight, and it's the kind of thing that sounds like a cliché until you're actually up there and the scale of it hits you. The casinos, the hotels, the landmarks you'd walk past on the ground — they make a different kind of sense from above.
The flight itself is straightforward. You show up with a valid photo ID (original government-issued, not a photocopy or digital version — the FAA is strict about this), check in, and get assigned a seat based on weight and balance. The helicopter holds a small group, so it never feels crowded. The pilot points out the Venetian, Treasure Island, and other spots as you bank over the Strip, but mostly you're just looking. The whole thing, loading and unloading included, runs 10 to 12 minutes. It's short enough that you're not sitting still too long, long enough that you actually see the city from a perspective you can't get any other way. Multiple departure times mean you can fit it into your evening without too much planning.
One thing to know: the seating gets assigned after check-in based on the aircraft's weight and balance limits, so you might not sit next to your travel partner. If that matters to you, mention it at check-in and they'll do their best, but they can't guarantee it. Also, if anyone in your group weighs over 300 pounds, they'll need to purchase an additional seat — that's an FAA rule, and it's payable directly to the operator on the day. Children 2 and older need their own seat too.
