Step-by-step itinerary
Watch Piff the Magic Dragon show
- Arrive at Flamingo Las Vegas
- Enjoy Piff the Magic Dragon performance
- Experience magic, comedy, and audience fun
The experience
Piff the Magic Dragon pulls off tricks that have fooled Penn & Teller on their own show, and he does it while making you laugh so hard you forget to watch his hands. The performance at Flamingo Las Vegas runs through a mix of his greatest material: routines he's refined across six solo shows and stages like Radio City Music Hall and the Sydney Opera House. He's the kind of performer who got his start getting recognized on America's Got Talent and turned it into a residency, which means he's doing the same show night after night, and it's tight.
What makes Piff the Magic Dragon different from other Vegas magic acts is that he doesn't pretend to be serious about it. The comedy lands first, the magic lands second, and somewhere in the middle he'll pull someone from the audience into the bit, which is either the best or worst thing that can happen to you, depending on your sense of humor. The show runs at the Flamingo, right on the Strip, so you're not driving out to some casino on the edge of town. You walk in, find your seat (the venue's wheelchair accessible if you need it), and settle in for something that feels less like a traditional magic show and more like hanging out with someone who happens to be really good at making things disappear.
The ticket includes all fees and taxes, so the price you see is what you pay. Minimum age is 8, which means you can bring kids old enough to sit still and appreciate a joke. Seat maps can shift depending on demand, so you don't get to pick your exact spot ahead of time, but that's standard for Vegas shows. If you're looking for something that isn't a production number with dancers and pyrotechnics, this lands different. It's one person, a deck of cards, some props, and the ability to make a room full of strangers believe something impossible just happened.
