- Visit secluded sandbar

- Relax and enjoy the scenery
The experience
The boat leaves from Key West with a captain who knows the waters and the spots. You get to pick what the day holds: snorkel a coral reef, wade out on a sandbar, explore the backcountry, or cruise in search of dolphins. Two activities fit into the half-day, so you're not locked into one stop. The 24' center console has a T-top for shade and comfortable seating, and snorkel gear is on board: mask, fins and snorkel included. Soda, bottled water and snacks come along too.
The captain handles the navigation through Key West's waters and knows which spots work for what you want to do. If the group wants to split time between a sandbar and a reef, that's the day. If someone wants to stay longer at one place, there's room to adjust. This is not a fixed itinerary tour where the schedule drives the stops. It's a private charter where the group's interest shapes where the boat goes.
What’s included
- Use of snorkelling equipment.

Is this one for you?Four hours leaves room for two activities and the boat ride between them, so you can snorkel a reef and wade a sandbar, or spend longer at one spot if the group prefers. If your day in Key West is tightly scheduled, a half-day charter fits better than a full-day trip.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the difference between snorkeling a coral reef and wading a sandbar in Key West?
Coral reefs sit in deeper water offshore and hold fish, sea fans and other reef life you see by snorkeling with a mask and fins. Sandbars are shallow, sandy bottoms in the shallows where you can wade and walk, often with clear water and a different kind of marine life. The captain knows both and can take you to whichever suits the group's mood.
Can we see dolphins on this charter?
The captain offers the option to cruise in search of Key West's resident dolphins as one of the two activities the half-day allows. Spotting them is not guaranteed, but the captain knows where they're often found and will take the boat out if that's what the group wants to do.
Is snorkel gear provided, or do I need to bring my own?
Snorkel gear is included: mask, fins and snorkel are on the boat and ready to use. You don't need to bring your own or rent separately.
How much time do we actually spend in the water?
The trip is four hours total. The captain takes you out to the spots, and you have time for two activities, whether that's two snorkel stops, a snorkel and a sandbar, or another combination. The exact time in the water depends on which activities the group chooses and how long you want to stay at each one.
