Off-road adventure on Hell's Revenge trail
- Buckle up for off-road ride
- Experience thrilling rollercoaster trail
- Enjoy stunning desert landscapes
- Laugh and scream optional
- Get muddy on dusty trails
The experience
Hell's Revenge is a wild, technical trail that cuts through red rock and desert terrain: the kind of ride where the landscape pitches and rolls under you. You'll get a Jeep JL Rubicon with 35-inch tires and a 3-inch lift, built to handle the terrain. If you book the U-Drive option, you're behind the wheel for the full three hours. If you choose Passenger, you sit back and let an experienced driver navigate while you take in the landscape and the ride itself. Either way, you're on the same trail, the same vehicle, the same day.
The tour runs in morning, afternoon, or sunset windows depending on which option you pick. Moab Tour Company has been running this route for over 20 years and stocks the newest Jeeps in their fleet. A water bottle is included. The company notes that the ride is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or during pregnancy. Those are real physical demands on this trail. If you're driving, you'll need valid proof of American or Canadian car insurance. If you're a passenger, you just show up.

Is this one for you?Pick the U-Drive option if you want to handle the wheel yourself on a famous trail. Choose Passenger if you'd rather experience the terrain and the ride without driving it. Both run the same three-hour loop, so the choice is about what you want to do, not where you'll go.

What is Hell's Revenge trail actually like to drive or ride on?
Hell's Revenge is a technical off-road route through red rock terrain with steep pitches, rolls and challenging sections that test both vehicle and driver. The Jeep JL Rubicon with 35-inch tires is built for exactly this kind of trail, and the three-hour loop keeps you on it long enough to feel the full character of the landscape without an all-day commitment.
Can I drive the Jeep myself, or do I have to ride as a passenger?
You choose at checkout: the U-Drive options let you drive the Jeep for the full three hours across morning, afternoon, or sunset departures. The Passenger options put you in the vehicle with a driver handling the wheel. Both versions run the same trail on the same day.

If you're driving, you'll need valid proof of American or Canadian car insurance. The Jeep, water bottle, and all safety gear come with the tour. If you're bringing a child under age 1, you'll need to bring your own car seat.
