The experience
What makes this different from a long backcountry expedition is the timing and the terrain: half-day trips run around three hours on the snowmobile, using trails that stay closer to Jackson and see fewer riders. You meet at the Historic Heart Six Ranch in the Buffalo Valley Cafe, where you can grab breakfast before heading out (at your own cost). Once there, the ranch fits you for proper winter gear, then transports you to the trailhead in Bridger Teton National Forest.
The ride itself is the core of the morning or afternoon: three hours moving through the forest on your own machine. A live guide leads the way and handles the route. When you return to the ranch, you're invited to stay and decompress. Hot chocolate and coffee are free. If you need a ride to or from the ranch, transportation can be arranged for an added cost.
What’s included

Is this one for you?Choose the morning departure if you want to ride early and have the afternoon free in Jackson, or pick the afternoon slot to start your day elsewhere and snowmobile later. Either way, the three-hour ride keeps the outing short enough to fit around other plans without committing to a full day in the saddle.
